PBA's Kevan Van Stone was named the 2011 SELC Specialty Player of the Year for his work at the faceoff 'x'.
In their first-ever trip to the SELC Conference Tournament in Atlanta, Georgia, Palm Beach Atlantic fell victim to the Kennesaw State Owls 15-8. The quarterfinal matchup was a rematch for both teams, as Kennesaw eeked out a 9-6 victory in Palm Beach earlier in the year.
Junior Joe Ciringione led Palm Beach Atlantic with seven points, while faceoff specialist Kevan Van Stone was 20/23 in the crucial 11-9 win over College of Charleston. By defeating the Cougars, PBA has clinched their first-ever berth into the SELC Conference Tournament (the Sailfish finished tied for first place in 2009, but lost their tournament spot in a tiebreaker).

Branden came to Palm Beach Atlantic from Palm Beach Gardens HS, where he was named first team all-state. Originally an attackman, Branden has converted to close defense for 2012. He averaged 1.08 PPG in 2011, with a career high five points twice (2/25 vs Georgia State; 4/9 vs Georgia Southern).

Joe transferred to PBA from Nassau CC as a junior. Prior to that, he played at Sanford H. Calhoun HS on Long Island. He averaged 5.8 PPG in 2011, with a career high eleven points on 2/5 vs Liberty University.

Justin came to Palm Beach Atlantic as a sophomore with no prior lacrosse experience.

Bobby transferred from as a sophomore into the PBA program. He was voted second team All-SELC in 2011.

Chris "Suds" Southard has been head coach at Palm Beach Atlantic University for nine seasons. Southard played four standout years as a crease attackman at Guilford College in North Carolina. Chris is also the offensive coordinator.
Chris is the longest-serving head coach in the SELC Division II.
factChris also works for First Presbyterian of North Palm Beach.
Patrick began coaching at PBA in 2009 where he has served as an assistant coach and defensive coordinator. Before joining the Sailfish staff, Johnston led Cardinal Newman HS to 36-15 record in three seasons as the Crusaders head coach. Johnston played four seasons at the University of Alabama where he earned both SELC All-Conference and USLIA All-American accolades.
factPat recently welcomed a daughter into his family.
Jayson is in his third year as Director of Operations of PBA men's lacrosse & first as an assistant coach. Prior to coaching, Jayson was an all-conference defensive midfielder and will consequently work with the midfield in 2012.
factJayson launched a high school program (Howell) in 2004.
Jordan joins the Palm Beach Atlantic staff this season as Strength & Conditioning coach. Utilizing his extremely well-versed background in the world of fitness, Jordan will bring a new element to the Sailfish coaching staff.
factJordan played for PBA from 2009-2011.
